Wedding, Baptism, Christmas

What an amazing week!! 2 people that the elders in my ward are teaching got married this week and they invited us too!! We ate something called "pollo al disco" after that was amazing. The same night one of our friends, Lautaro, got baptized!! He is 9 years old and after he left the font he said, "I am never going to forget this feeling!!!" It was such a wholesome moment.  Honestly as I am looking back at this week there was a lot of rejection, a little bit of a dangerous situation, and the economy in argentina is being reconstructed and the prices of everything went up and we arent gonna get more plata(money). But this was one of the best weeks of my mission!! I honestly have never been happier in my life.  I know that when we have the right focus in our life, we can have "eternal happiness", or "joy". Cherries And Elves!

Almost a month here in Bolsón and its been the fastest month of my life! This has been my first week without a cough so we are takin wins out here   Rundown: - we left a lunch and the members gave us each a branch from their cherry tree. I've eaten WAY too many cherries this week - christmas zone conference with a white elephant gift exchange-- my companion won a knife with our mission name engraved on the side! - our friend lauti is getting baptized tomorrow and its also his 9th birthday - gave a talk in church and once I got up to the pulpit realized 2 of our friends came to church!!(they are a lesbian married couple so if any of you had experience with that on your missions PLEASE help me cause our mission president wasnt sure how to help us either) - people full on believe elves are real here and live in the forest   Thought:   Jesus Christ was a Human Savior who felt every pain, a healing Savior who heals the deepest wounds, and a divine Savior that saved the world! ...

Don't Give The Church Wifi Password To The Gipsy!

This week in a rundown:   - chronic bronchitis, yeah. thats fun. IM THRIVING THOUGH! - gispy scanned a QR code on my phone for the church wifi??? But they are our neighbors(to the church) and are just gonna use it allllll the time, I was just trying to be christlike people - exhanges in Esquel! We had a few days of traveling(it was only 3 hours to get there) and made it to esquel!! I spent a few hours with hna molina(who is from the mission my brother served in!) and a whole day with hermana Affleck, she is so amazing. - got BURNT so bad. The sun is strong here folks. - took a lil side trip to TREVELIN!!!! yes dad, you heard that right. Its the southern most area in my mission and there are only elders and a senior couple there and we ate dinner with the senior couple to finish our exchanges - had a WARD CHRISTMAS PARTY! it was so swag, we sang in a choir, the youth acted out the nativity scene, and then we ate roasted chicken, so. good.
