- intercambios with hermana jones!! We went to Fernandez Oro and walked a ton, but so fun being 2 yankees in Argentina:)
 

- mothers day activity!! Friday night was packed full of dancing, laughing and smiles!! It was a surprise activity for all the women in the ward and they couldnt have been happier!

 
- presidential elections were yesterday so they told us we had to stay in our houses for safety. Nothing happened and we arent sure who won, but they told us that after the last election there was a country-wide looting of every supermarket
 

- starting fresh this week! Both of the people that had dates to be baptized fell through and told us they were on their own path and didnt want us. This was SO hard because now we really only have one person progressing in our area:(

 
- miracles according to our faith! The person that is progressing is named Mercedes!! The elders gave her a blessing of health for her leg and she called us 3 days later and told us, "Chicas!! La bendición funciona!! Puedo caminar y estoy en centro caminando!!" Before the blessing the had told us how much faith she had that it was going to work!!!

 
- saw a kid fall into this crevice of NASTY water(dont worry he was fine!) and my comp started laughing, but I held it in until he couldnt hear us lol, pic of the water below.

God is going to give us trials in this life so that we can become perfect, so that we can inherit our divine potential and become as He is. The mission is just a lil speed run of that process lol. I know that everything I am going through now is helping me to truly "desarrollar"(dont remember this word in english) attributes of Jesus Christ and become "literally perfect". This week was better for me! I have learned to turn outward instead of inward, and to focus on how everything might effect other people instead of just myself. I love becoming like Jesus!! He literally our "ejemplo perfecto"

Milagros yall!! A few things from this week: - A family we are teaching came to church yesterday - One of our friends that we stopped teaching 2 months ago went to church/the baptism of her GRANDDAUGHTER yesterday and told the missionaries there that she wants us to teach her and pass by again!! - my heels are absolutely destroyed from walking a ton but I couldnt be happier to be in pain for the salvation of other people - I gave a talk and people could understand me haha!! My comp said my argentinian accent was so heavy at some points in my talk that she couldnt understand my spanish - a kid asked if I was chinese.   My favorite miracle this week:   while we were walking to a baptism for another ward, a guy stopped on his motorcycle and said "tengo una consulta", I was prepared to help him with dirrections, while my companion was preparing to run haha. I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas

It rained, it poured, it rained some more. And then it snowed. Yup. Its summer for yall but it is very much winter for me and the rest of la gente here in Argentina. This week was cold, and as I am writing this email I am looking out of our window(we live in the 8th floor of an apartment building) all I can see is fog. The poor weather made it harder to work but we pushed through.   Had my first (multi)zone conference this week in Roca and it was great to get to know other missionaries! For those of you new to mission lingo- each companionship of missionaries has an area that they cover. Every couple "areas" is a "district", and every couple "districts" is a "zone"! Zone conference is when we all gather at one church building and spend the morning(or day in our case) together!  We had exchanges! New Missionary Pt 2

Yup, the title is correct. I got asked WAY to many times if I was a new missionary in my area that i've already been in for 6 weeks:( confirmed my thoughts of being pretty much invisible for the first transfer here in Argentina. So thats been real nice the past couple days. Oh and I got called fat in the street. Lets just say people are VERY open here and will not hold anything back.    Other than that, I have a new companion and she said that I have perfect spanish! At this moment I would like to thank my mother for speaking to me in spanish at home sometimes, because of that, I didnt completely loose the spanish I learned in high school many many years ago.   We had more miracles this week and one of our friends we have been teaching for a few weeks finally came to church! WOOHOOOO!!! I cried when he walked in, and then a less active member that we've been working with walked in. I was speachless, crying in gratitude, and saying prayers of thanks.
