UNA BANDA DE AMOR

"And when they pass to the other side of the veil and draw close to that loving “gravitational pull” of their heavenly home, I believe it will feel familiar because of how they were loved here."
 

I was reading a general conference talk from this past conference in the saturday night session and when I read this quote I thought of Aunt Andrea, and I remembered that night in Alaska when we couldnt sleep, couldnt bear, couldnt comprehend, that she might pass away, and you said, "I wish I had said kinder things to her when we were kids". Mom, you loved her. You showed that love. You SHOW that love to me and our family every single day. I know that andrea felt that familiar feeling when she made it to our heavenly home. I know this for a fact. You are trying your hardest and we see that. Your works are sufficient, and if at any moment you dont feel that, remember who we have at our side as I like to teach the kids, Jesus Christ is going to help us make a "perfect hamburger" to present to God at the last day. He IS perfecting our "imperfect harvest".
 

I love you SO much and I miss you so much every. Single. Day. You are the reason I am on a mission, and you are the reason I went to church every sunday in college and as a kid. You are the reason that so many people are hearing the gospel from my lips here in Cipolletti! I just want you to know all of your sacrifices did not go unnoticed, and my personal experience with how you have been an example to me has already helped so many people in my area! I love you, the Lord loves you, and hermana Orme loves you, you are changing lives right now and you will see the fruits of your labors. Maybe it will be in 10 years, and maybe it wont be in the way you expect, but it will come. I love this gospel and I love you(x3 this time). While I am writing this I am crying for how much love I feel for you. I literally think I have more love for you than the Lord.
 

Talk to you/see you sooooo soon!!!! 14 months is such little time to wait, and such little time to serve the lord. I know he is helping you and our family every day

Milagros yall!! A few things from this week: - A family we are teaching came to church yesterday - One of our friends that we stopped teaching 2 months ago went to church/the baptism of her GRANDDAUGHTER yesterday and told the missionaries there that she wants us to teach her and pass by again!! - my heels are absolutely destroyed from walking a ton but I couldnt be happier to be in pain for the salvation of other people - I gave a talk and people could understand me haha!! My comp said my argentinian accent was so heavy at some points in my talk that she couldnt understand my spanish - a kid asked if I was chinese.   My favorite miracle this week:   while we were walking to a baptism for another ward, a guy stopped on his motorcycle and said "tengo una consulta", I was prepared to help him with dirrections, while my companion was preparing to run haha. I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas

It rained, it poured, it rained some more. And then it snowed. Yup. Its summer for yall but it is very much winter for me and the rest of la gente here in Argentina. This week was cold, and as I am writing this email I am looking out of our window(we live in the 8th floor of an apartment building) all I can see is fog. The poor weather made it harder to work but we pushed through.   Had my first (multi)zone conference this week in Roca and it was great to get to know other missionaries! For those of you new to mission lingo- each companionship of missionaries has an area that they cover. Every couple "areas" is a "district", and every couple "districts" is a "zone"! Zone conference is when we all gather at one church building and spend the morning(or day in our case) together!  We had exchanges! New Missionary Pt 2

Yup, the title is correct. I got asked WAY to many times if I was a new missionary in my area that i've already been in for 6 weeks:( confirmed my thoughts of being pretty much invisible for the first transfer here in Argentina. So thats been real nice the past couple days. Oh and I got called fat in the street. Lets just say people are VERY open here and will not hold anything back.    Other than that, I have a new companion and she said that I have perfect spanish! At this moment I would like to thank my mother for speaking to me in spanish at home sometimes, because of that, I didnt completely loose the spanish I learned in high school many many years ago.   We had more miracles this week and one of our friends we have been teaching for a few weeks finally came to church! WOOHOOOO!!! I cried when he walked in, and then a less active member that we've been working with walked in. I was speachless, crying in gratitude, and saying prayers of thanks.
