80 Degrees And A Chance That Your Friend Runs From The Police

What a week! I am feeling better, I still cant eat on one side of my mouth but so much better! 


First the title... we went to visit a friend and noticed when he opened his door he had an ankle monitor(maybe he wants to change?) There wasnt any problem until a cop car with lights on pulled up to his house and he ran. We also left. Later we saw another car cop, motor-cop, and bicycle-cop all going full speed, in the direction of our friends house with their lights on telling people to get out of the way.


Anywaysss this week was awesome! We helped 2 more people put goals for a date to be baptized. We worked hard, had amazing lunches with members, and a few of our friends came to church yesterday! I love this work, and I am so grateful that God is putting the people in our path that really are ready to hear our message.

So! Keep doing the good, follow the saviors example, and we will be amoung some pf the greatest souls that lived! Maybe we didnt get into the MLB hall of fame, win a Golden Globes award, or win first place at a competition/tornament, but those are achievements of the world. 
☆ Here is your weekly reminder that YOU MATTER TO HIM! you matter to God all the time. He doesnt expect perfection, but improvement. (And ive been working on improving a lot this week).

Milagros yall!! A few things from this week: - A family we are teaching came to church yesterday - One of our friends that we stopped teaching 2 months ago went to church/the baptism of her GRANDDAUGHTER yesterday and told the missionaries there that she wants us to teach her and pass by again!! - my heels are absolutely destroyed from walking a ton but I couldnt be happier to be in pain for the salvation of other people - I gave a talk and people could understand me haha!! I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas

It rained, it poured, it rained some more. And then it snowed. Yup. Its summer for yall but it is very much winter for me and the rest of la gente here in Argentina. This week was cold, and as I am writing this email I am looking out of our window(we live in the 8th floor of an apartment building) all I can see is fog. The poor weather made it harder to work but we pushed through.   Had my first (multi)zone conference this week in Roca and it was great to get to know other missionaries! For those of you new to mission lingo- each companionship of missionaries has an area that they cover. Every couple "areas" is a "district", and every couple "districts" is a "zone"! Zone conference is when we all gather at one church building and spend the morning(or day in our case) together!  We had exchanges! New Missionary Pt 2

Yup, the title is correct. I got asked WAY to many times if I was a new missionary in my area that i've already been in for 6 weeks:( confirmed my thoughts of being pretty much invisible for the first transfer here in Argentina. So thats been real nice the past couple days. Oh and I got called fat in the street. Lets just say people are VERY open here and will not hold anything back.    Other than that, I have a new companion and she said that I have perfect spanish! At this moment I would like to thank my mother for speaking to me in spanish at home sometimes, because of that, I didnt completely loose the spanish I learned in high school many many years ago.   We had more miracles this week and one of our friends we have been teaching for a few weeks finally came to church!
