Guess Who's Sick...Again

Yup you heard it here first folks! Hna carden is sick again, this time with an infection in her jaw. I woke up on saturday morning with a 101 fever, pain on the whole right side of my face, and a call from the dentist that told me I cant chew on the right side of my mouth for a week and have to take antibiotics, and if im lucky, see a dentist in argentina(they dont fix problems, they just remove teeth)


For other news this week! 
- said a lot of sad goodbyes to the amazing members in El Bolson. Really was the best area of the whole mission.
- traveled with 7 other missionaries to neuque
- got to plottier and on my first day it was 104° between 3-6pm


Wow yall, im gonna be completely honest, the past few days I have had such a high fever and have been in so much pain. But God knew this was gonna happen so he helped us find 7 new people, and put someone on a date to be baptized all on friday afternoon. We also had 3 different people see us walking by through their window and they came outside to call us over and talk to us! This is the first time someone had called us over in all of my mission!  


On another note, I have felt so insufficient. I was so nervous to train because I know im not the perfect missionary with not amazing spanish. And then on my second day with my companion I got sick and couldn't work. I felt awful and kept apologizing for being sick. I have been trying to remember the Christ perfects our imperfect efforts.

Milagros yall!! A few things from this week: - A family we are teaching came to church yesterday - One of our friends that we stopped teaching 2 months ago went to church/the baptism of her GRANDDAUGHTER yesterday and told the missionaries there that she wants us to teach her and pass by again!! - my heels are absolutely destroyed from walking a ton but I couldnt be happier to be in pain for the salvation of other people - I gave a talk and people could understand me haha!! My comp said my argentinian accent was so heavy at some points in my talk that she couldnt understand my spanish - a kid asked if I was chinese.   My favorite miracle this week:   while we were walking to a baptism for another ward, a guy stopped on his motorcycle and said "tengo una consulta", I was prepared to help him with dirrections, while my companion was preparing to run haha. I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas

It rained, it poured, it rained some more. And then it snowed. Yup. Its summer for yall but it is very much winter for me and the rest of la gente here in Argentina. This week was cold, and as I am writing this email I am looking out of our window(we live in the 8th floor of an apartment building) all I can see is fog. The poor weather made it harder to work but we pushed through.   Had my first (multi)zone conference this week in Roca and it was great to get to know other missionaries! For those of you new to mission lingo- each companionship of missionaries has an area that they cover. Every couple "areas" is a "district", and every couple "districts" is a "zone"! Zone conference is when we all gather at one church building and spend the morning(or day in our case) together!  We had exchanges! New Missionary Pt 2

Yup, the title is correct. I got asked WAY to many times if I was a new missionary in my area that i've already been in for 6 weeks:( confirmed my thoughts of being pretty much invisible for the first transfer here in Argentina. So thats been real nice the past couple days. Oh and I got called fat in the street. Lets just say people are VERY open here and will not hold anything back.    Other than that, I have a new companion and she said that I have perfect spanish! At this moment I would like to thank my mother for speaking to me in spanish at home sometimes, because of that, I didnt completely loose the spanish I learned in high school many many years ago.   We had more miracles this week and one of our friends we have been teaching for a few weeks finally came to church!
