Not All The Dogs Are Nice In Plottier...

Buen día a todos!! Espero que esta semana fue excelente

*HEALTH UPDATE*
aparently a few of yall are asking how my health is! My jaw is completely healed, no more pain(no more gain) and I can eat completely normal. About 3 weeks ago I strained my quad pretty bad. I tried to play fútbol again this past friday and ended up re-straining it(not as bad). My mission president(who was an orthopedic surgeon) told me that I will be prone to quad injuries for the rest of my life, so that was a bummer to hear. But I am doing great, the weather has been cooling down a bit, and the work never stops

*RECAP OF THIS WEEK*
There were so many miracles this week! On thursday specifically, we had planned our whole day and were so excited because a member had planned a lesson for us to meet her nephew and his whole family that want to learn about the gospel.

Before 11:30am, all of our appointments and in-person lunch all cancelled. We were so disappointed and we werent sure what to do. When we got home, we prayed about what would should do and I felt like we should visit a part-member family and then knock every house in a specific 2 blocks. After visiting the part family, we knocked every door. No one was answering. On the last door two girls answered and they were acting very weird, but we asked them to call their mom.

At this moment I thought the mom was going to come out and be mad at us becausd these two girls were acting SO weird. But she came out and we asked the basic questions and she told us that she was the oldest daughter of the family we had just visited, and that her twin daughters want to be baptized. YOU GUYS. we had been trying to find these twins for a long time. There grandma told us they wanted to be baptized but that the mom would never talk to us, but here we were, with the mom giving us her number and telling us to pass by again. WHAT A MIRACLE! GOD SOFTENS HEARTS

*MIRACLEISH #2/ ALMOST EATEN BY A DOG*
On Wednesday morning we went to visit a friend that lived farther away. We taught her about the restauration of the Gospel and we felt the spirit so strong, but unfortunatly when we ask her, she said she didnt believe Christ had established his church yet and that we were still in apostasy. And the walk back I told my companion we were going to stop teaching her and she got sad/irritated with me. I reminded her that we need to "drop" our friends with faith that its whats best and we will be able to find other people ready to be baptized. On this walk back to our house it was silent, with an ocasional pause for my companion to take a rock out of her shoe. She stopped again, but more abruptly and said "I cant ignore the spirit, we have to go visit this person." I happily said lets do it and we took an 8 minutes detour to see if this person was home. She wasnt, but then we called her and she said she had been thinking of texting us too and invited us to her house on sunday(yesterday).

During/after this experience we felt the spirit so strong and we were able to be truly guided by its influence. Yesterday we went to her house and she didnt answer again. I went to call her and then my companion saw her dog running straight for us as it was not inside the fence. I was looking at my phone to call this friend again and when I looked up the dog was barking, snapping its jaw, and about 3 feet in front of me. My companion was already one block down the street so I yelled at her to throw a rock towards(not at) the dog so I could escape without getting bit. She didnt. But i also didnt get bitten, and we escaped all it one peice. it was the biggest dog ive ever had try to attack me. My companion then handed me a rock 3 blocks later and said "here was the rock you asked for"

*SPIRITUAL THOUGHT*
WOWOWOW yall ive been reading the Book of Mormon like crazy cause im trying to finish reading it all the way through in spanish by the 27th of March and im in Mormon(so close but so far). I read all of 3rd nephi this week and it talks about when Jesus Christ visited the americas andthe talks about the restauration/building of the church in the latter days(which are now). I just want you all the read all of third nephi! There is so much doctrine of the church in there. Its so good. But if I would have to narrow it down I would say chapters 11-20

I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH! only 1.5 more weeks in this transfer! Ohhh and if other missionaries wanted to see what my mission is like here, im gonna put our week goals at the bottom!
