April Showers Bring May Flow--Winter

We've had a rainy few days here in plottier, and I am loving it! Rain is my favorite weather. Except I have now come to realize that none of my jackets are water resistant. Neither is my umbrella
 

Anywayyyyyss! Started off the week with an exchange so I went over to the other side of Plottier for a day and was with Hermana Febres, I love her! We saw so many miracles 
 

A woman who has been coming to church for awhile accepted a baptismal date! Pray for Claudia, her baptism is going to be on the 27th. We are also teaching a 14 year old named Tobias. He wants to get baptized so bad, but his mom wont let him. Pray for him too!!
 

Random:
• my companion barks at dogs??
• "you only have one real love in your life, and ive already had mine!" - claudia after taking about her husband who passed away 2 years ago
• RAN to a members house with hna febres so that we wouldnt get robbed
• visited a 74 year old convert who lives with a jehovahs witness and I ate 10 CHURROS
• Made a birthday cake of banana bread and dulce de leche in the middle, so good.
 
 
An experience that stuck with me this week:
Every thursday we eat with hermana Edith! I love her so much! We finished eating and she went to grab something and said "oh hermanas! I have something for you!!"...(what could it be?) Turned out she found a Book of Mormon the we gifted to one friends. In the trash. Outside her house. We took this as a sign that our friend was not interested anymore, but my heart was broken! It was in this moment that I recieved a testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. I know with all of my heart, might, mind, and soul that the Book of Mormon is the word of God.
 

"We invite all men everywhere to read the Book of Mormon, to ponder in their hearts the message it contains, and then to ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ if the book is true. Those who pursue this course and ask in faith will gain a testimony of its truth and divinity by the power of the Holy Ghost."

 
If you think that the Book of Mormon is just some silly book, I invite you to read it. Because it will change your life, and your relationship with Jesus Christ.

Milagros yall!! A few things from this week: - A family we are teaching came to church yesterday - One of our friends that we stopped teaching 2 months ago went to church/the baptism of her GRANDDAUGHTER yesterday and told the missionaries there that she wants us to teach her and pass by again!! - my heels are absolutely destroyed from walking a ton but I couldnt be happier to be in pain for the salvation of other people - I gave a talk and people could understand me haha!! My comp said my argentinian accent was so heavy at some points in my talk that she couldnt understand my spanish - a kid asked if I was chinese.   My favorite miracle this week:   while we were walking to a baptism for another ward, a guy stopped on his motorcycle and said "tengo una consulta", I was prepared to help him with dirrections, while my companion was preparing to run haha. I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas

It rained, it poured, it rained some more. And then it snowed. Yup. Its summer for yall but it is very much winter for me and the rest of la gente here in Argentina. This week was cold, and as I am writing this email I am looking out of our window(we live in the 8th floor of an apartment building) all I can see is fog. The poor weather made it harder to work but we pushed through.   Had my first (multi)zone conference this week in Roca and it was great to get to know other missionaries! For those of you new to mission lingo- each companionship of missionaries has an area that they cover. Every couple "areas" is a "district", and every couple "districts" is a "zone"! Zone conference is when we all gather at one church building and spend the morning(or day in our case) together!  We had exchanges! New Missionary Pt 2

Yup, the title is correct. I got asked WAY to many times if I was a new missionary in my area that i've already been in for 6 weeks:( confirmed my thoughts of being pretty much invisible for the first transfer here in Argentina. So thats been real nice the past couple days. Oh and I got called fat in the street. Lets just say people are VERY open here and will not hold anything back.    Other than that, I have a new companion and she said that I have perfect spanish! At this moment I would like to thank my mother for speaking to me in spanish at home sometimes, because of that, I didnt completely loose the spanish I learned in high school many many years ago.   We had more miracles this week and one of our friends we have been teaching for a few weeks finally came to church!
