Helped A Lost Dog, Got Cat-Called And Ate Medialunas

Happy monday everyone!! I hope you are all enjoying the warmer weather up there in the northern hemisphere, as I have been starting to bundle up with record lows for fall in argentina (temps between 32-45°)

This week went by like a mini-van on the high way. Half of them drive super fast and the other drive super slow!

We had stake conference yesterday and it was amazing! My mission president shared about the atonement of Jesus Christ and the stake president shared about the importance of testifying of that Jesus is the Christ. It was incredible. I felt the spirit testifying to me strongly of the importance of the relationship I already have with Jesus Christ.

On tuesday we had a lesson in a park. A dog joined us, and ended up sitting with us the whole time. And then followed us when we crossed the highway. So we decided to call the number that was in its coller and we waiting with the dog(named milo) until his owner came and picked him up! She said "he must've followed someone..." yes ma'am, he followed us

On wednesday we planned to visit some grey dots(people that used to be taught) in the afternoon. After one of our lessons a random number texted us and asked if we could visit her. Surprise, it was one of the grey dots we had put in our plan for later that day!! She was in a very dark spot and wanted us to share a message with her because she knew/knows that the message we share as missionaries really is a message of joy, peace, and love. Oh how I love being able to help people in the best way!

Besides that, we had a few interesting interactions this morning, we went to buy at a supermarket(like walmart) and the segurity person stopped us and asked if we were mormons. Then he just stared at me. When we were checking out, a grandma started looking at the sweater I was going to buy, the cashier started to charge us more then we bought, and this segurity man came to our register and showed me his identification card and asked me if I was going to remember his name. We RAN so fast out of the store. Then we got onto a bus and the driver made a comment that im not gonna put on this email HAHA. we got to some seats and my companion said, "its your eyes today. People just think you are too pretty" SO FUNNY. but also im so grateful that I have the holy ghost as my constant companion to help guide me in these situations!

watch out for the grandmas, cashiers, chofers, and segurity gaurds this week!

With so much love,
Hermana Carden
