4 Transfers Left
This week went by so fast! We were a lil sick but the work continues.
We had a zone conference this week and it was so spiritual! We talked about the Atonement of Jesus Christ, the restauration of the gospel and our president gave us a lot of tips. This was my last conference with my current mission president, so sad! He shared some of his favorite scriptures with us and this was one that stood out to me:
Doctrine and Convenants 123:17
"Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed."
All of my life I have tried to not only follow the commandments and keep my covenants, but I do it with JOY. Because I know that God will not give us things that we need to do without there being a really good reason for it.
What is a covenant?
A covenant is a sacred agreement between God and a person or group of people. God sets specific conditions, and He promises to bless us as we obey those conditions.
For other news, we have transfers this week and I will be training a brand new missionary from the USA! its gonna be a blast, but please pray for our safety
