Happy monday everyone!! I hope you are all enjoying the warmer weather up there in the northern hemisphere, as I have been starting to bundle up with record lows for fall in argentina  (temps between 32-45°)    This week went by like a mini-van on the high way. Half of them drive super fast and the other drive super slow!    We had stake conference yesterday and it was amazing! My mission president shared about the atonement of Jesus Christ and the stake president shared about the importance of testifying of that Jesus is the Christ. It was incredible. I felt the spirit testifying to me strongly of the importance of the relationship I already have with Jesus Christ.   On tuesday we had a lesson in a park. A dog joined us, and ended up sitting with us the whole time. And then followed us when we crossed the highway. So we decided to call the number that was in its coller and we waiting with the dog(named milo) until his owner came and picked him up! She said...

Week 51

Whatttt! This week was pretty awesome, heres a run down: ☆ our friend accepted a baptismal date for june 15th! She is so ready, we just have to help her get married to her boyfriend. ☆ had the FUNNIEST interaction of my whole mission on friday morning. We knocked a door and a 80 year old man named Ortiz opened the door. He shared with us how he has had 2 heart attacks, literally knocked on heavens door both times, but god didnt want him so he sent him back. Then we were talking about loving your neighbor and then he told us how someone stole his cell phone and I said," that is not loving your neighbor, is it?" And we were all laughing so hard. It was funnier in spanish. And in person.  ☆ on wednesday we recieved a reference from an ad on facebook! We sent her a text immediately and then we had a lesson with her on friday. It was an amazing lesson and she told us she was scared to fill out the ad but when we texted her right away she knew it was the right decision! Then she sh...

On The Road To Healing My Heart In Neuquén

I moved to neuquen!!! Said a lot of hard goodbyes on tuesday and wednesday, I am forever changed by the people in Plottier!! Now I am in an area called confluencia and we walk a lottttt. Its 25 blocks to the church building and about the same to get to our friends that are progressing. It is also a harder area, there are not a lot of people interesting in our message, and the people that are interested don't have a lot of time. Highlight of the week was that I got to see my sweet companion hermana Mendoza again before she went home. i love her so stinkin much!! When we saw each other we both dropped our stuff and ran, and I cried! She helped me so much in the mission and taught me so much! I also got to see hermana Baker again-- love her so much!  I would love to her from you all this week! And maybe on my birthday too Hermana Carden, Camdawg, Cardenales

Im moving!! I am sad to leave this area and the members but I am happy to be changing a few other things:)  I truly learned what it meant to give I have out of love for another person. Like the atonement of Jesus Christ, his sacrifice was made possible out of the love that he had for us. The  pure  love that he has for us. This pure love is what helped me be able to help my companion!  This past week was hard for me. I struggled HARD. I cried a lot. I talked to my mission president a lot. I also fell really hard this week and got a minor concussion lol. Lets just say ive had better weeks in my mission. But something that really helped me this week was reading this experience(i only have it in spanish): ---------------------------- El siguiente acontecimiento tuvo lugar en un barrio de Salt Lake City en 1974. Un joven, justo antes de partir para su misión, se presentó en la reunión sacramental y dio en esencia el siguiente testimonio: Hermanos y hermanas, como saben, ...
